About Me

I am a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT) in the state of California. My prior work experience includes working with adults at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills and adolescents at Pacific Teen Treatment in Malibu.

I am originally from the city of Chicago and have spent most of the last decade in Los Angeles.

My Approach

I rely on a non-judgmental, direct and compassionate approach. It is my aim to understand the underlying causes of your symptoms. I work collaboratively with my clients so I welcome questions and will also regularly check in and educate you on my process.

I work with individual adults, couples and adolescents who are experiencing post traumatic stress, complex trauma, dissociation, depression, anxiety and many other distressing experiences.

I utilize an integrative approach that includes Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and various forms of talk therapy that focus on attachment theory, existential therapy and spirituality. While I love these various orientations and methodologies, I am only going to utilize training that is helpful to you.

Psychotherapy is both challenging and exciting. I find a lot of hope in knowing that the problems we experience in life are not random.
