Services

  • Somatic Therapy

Therapy with a focus on feeling, sensation and pain in the body. Somatic therapy is often utilized for trauma and attachment work (but can be useful for many types of distress). I personally utilize Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as a somatic modality.

  • EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an approach that works with feelings and memories that are stuck in our nervous system. EMDR is used for trauma, difficult childhood memories or recent experiences of hurt. I have completed part 1 and part 2 of EMDR training through the Creative Mindfulness Institute.

  • Talk Therapy

Sometimes therapy is needed to understand life, recent pain, identity and a multitude of other things. Using a combination of attachment theory, existential therapy and depth psychology, talk therapy can be helpful for grief, phase of life issues and work challenges, amongst others.
